The original drawing was commissioned by a group of South Western Train Drivers, with the sole intention of raising funds for Macmillan Cancer support.
My Cousin Richard Lee was a train driver for South West Trains and based at Clapham Junction and Sadly died of Cancer last year.
This drawing is dedicated to Richard all references are related to his life and the time he spent working there.
The nicknames of his friends and colleagues can be found in written in a park near the station.

Four different keys used by the train drivers are hidden in the work.

A reference to Pink Floyds “Animals” album with the flying pig above Battersea Power Station, as this was one of my Cousins favourite albums.

A Camel can be found as “Camel” was one of his favourite all time bands.
2 4 6 8 Motorway, by the Tom Robinson Band, because I remember this being played non-stop at his wedding to Anne in Peckham in the late 1970s

A hidden detail is Richards Daughter Claire, tap dancing on Richards cherished vinyl collection, which she did as a young child ;]

Between 12-14th December 2018 I held an Exhibition of my original large scaled drawings in the centre of London’s Victoria Train Station. Along with South West Train Drivers and Macmillan Cancer support, we raised £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer support from the sales of my prints and a prize draw for an Artist Proof print of Clapham Junction along with generous donations by the public.
