Orleans House Gallery presents Fields of Vision: Landscapes Past & Present, an exhibition that juxtaposes historical and contemporary works of naturalistic and urban landscapes, depicted in a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, photography and film. The exhibition brings together works from the Richmond Borough Art Collection, works by invited artists and works of local and national artists selected via open submission.

The exhibition will feature works by J.M.W. Turner and William Marlow along with contemporary interpretations by Stephen Wiltshire and Niamh Mac Gowan.

Featured contemporary artists include: Michael Bennallack-Hart, Susan Beaulah, John Bourne, David Downes, Paul Hiles, Ben Johnston, Niamh Mac Gowan, Jill Storey, Stephen Wiltshire and Roy Wright.

Stephen Wiltshire has been the subject of a number of BBC documentaries for his extraordinary ability to accurately recreate a detailed landscape from memory.
